Hello from the English Sisters. This is a special podcast episode, yes, for a lovely person in Massachusetts who has written to us and we've received our first text Message. Message. It was lovely Because you can now text us under the show, wherever you're listening, and we will receive your text messages. So she or he or they yeah, have asked for a 10 20 minute relaxation, exactly, and so this is exactly what we're going to do. So we're very happy that you asked us for this and we're excited to share this with you. From hyannis, massachusetts yes, we were yippee when we saw this. We were so excited and we are celebrating. Definitely.

Speaker 1:

So, first of all, for meditation and relaxation, please do not operate machinery or drive while you're listening. So if you're in the car, this one's not for you. We'll also put that in Just this podcast. The other podcasts are fine, but this one with our background, with hypnosis and being hypnotherapists, you know we don't want you to relax so much that you know we want you to relax, forget where you're going Be in a safe environment. So just for this one, that's we had to do this check, yes, okay. So turn it off if you're driving. Yes, and go to the next one and go and listen to a different one, right? So? So let's get comfortable.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and just for now, you can begin by taking a lovely deep breath in. You know that kind of breath that when the air passes through your nose, you feel an instant whiff of relaxation, indeed, and maybe a little giggle too. And that little giggle can go all the way right into your tummy area, making you feel relaxed right there now, even more relaxed than you thought could be possible at this time, taking you back to a further moment in time when you felt ever so relaxed, ever so light. So you may have been in your favourite place, surrounded by your favourite people. It may be a moment in time that has never existed, or a moment of your past life when you were a child, exactly when you were young and free and you just had not a thought in the world Whether you were running or playing, laughing. Let that sound of that laughter and that giggle go through your body, and you may have felt a ray of sunshine or a cool breeze upon you, where you felt as if there's something greater than you, something that made you feel connected To everything and everyone around you, where the wonders of nature would take you by surprise so very often, to the stars and the sun and the raindrop, with the rainbow Falling gently. Everything was so amazing, just like running through puddles, so surreal.

Speaker 1:

Almost now it's a time gone by, as the rustling of the leaves. It's a time you can experience every time you listen to the sounds of our voices, calming. You can go and relax just a little bit further into Counting down if you prefer 2, 9, 8, 2, 9, 7, 2, 9, 6. And you can continue counting until you may feel that you lose count and it doesn't really matter at all, because numbers are there just for you to find useful and there are many numbers in your life and they don't necessarily have to make that much of a difference to your life, just like your age difference in time. You can go back and forwards and be playful with the passing of time, day by day, can be and feel a little lighter as time goes on, a little younger in your heart. You can leave your troubles and worries behind you, relaxing even further now With every breath you take, how comfortable you're beginning to feel and you may feel the surface beneath you Comfortably Relaxing further and further now, more and more comfortable as you clear your mind.

Speaker 1:

Clear your mind now, like a blank canvas, filling it with what you'd like and desire in the weeks to come, knowing that you have that very special magical paintbrush and you can paint any picture you desire. And you can use all the paintbrushes you wish and all the colours to paint that picture. And you can make that picture ever so vibrant, feeling stronger and more youthful day by day, getting better and better, stronger and more confident. Confidence, stronger, feeling so much self-worth, so confident in your own decisions, just like when you hold that paintbrush. Knowing what you know, now you paint your own mental picture. You can, you can tell yourself your own story, whatever you want to do. Your story doesn't have to be somebody else's story and do whatever you want to do. You don't have to be limited by someone else. You can shine just like the sun. Your mind shines strong, filled with potential, much more than you may be aware of, to actually do things. Because you know now that you can feel ever so comfortable and relaxed with you and you can feel it throughout your body, feeling lighter and lighter as you feel, almost as if you're gliding, so Floating, perhaps Feeling so good, that childlike giggle, that youthful playtime, playfulness, creativity.

Speaker 1:

Who knows what tomorrow can bring? Who knows what you may say yes to? Who knows what you may say no to? Eat healthy, lean, fresh foods, water, hydrating your body, nourishing, growing just like a strong tree, you'll feel every wind that comes, but they need not break your branches. You become more and more flexible, more and more resilient as time goes by.

Speaker 1:

Feeling so strong, you may have weathered a few storms and you may enjoy the resilience that has built up inside you now, that feeling of strength that you have got from overcoming challenges, letting go now and appreciating that strength within you, worth within you, understanding now Full, the pure joy Of fullness, of being alive, feeling strength and taking pleasure in the little things that provide you with joy the green leaves on the trees, a lovely cup of hot drinks, beautiful flower Cool drinks if it's hot, the breeze that passes through, a kiss from a loved one, a twig in all its marvel, a smile, contact from a stranger, a smile, perhaps A smile from someone smiling back at you. All small little things to be treasured, leaving you feeling ever so is so refreshed and relaxed, more and more from the head, the top of your head to the tip of your toe and whenever you're ready all the way through, you can begin to feel awake and fully present in your surroundings. Three, two, one, wide awake, ready to go, feeling refreshed and energized, full of strength and courage to embrace the coming days ahead. And you may like to take a little stretch and come back into your surroundings fully and present. Now there you go A little cough, a little cough, yes, and feeling ever so recharged.

Speaker 1:

Recharged. Are you feeling recharged? I am. I am feeling recharged, I am super recharged. I am because when we do these meditations, it does make me relax myself. Of course it does, yes, it does. You know what they say about meditation. You can't do a meditation without feeling it well, do they? Yes, well, that's a good one. I did not know that, but I mean these meditations. They have to go there first. Yes, you go there first. That's right. They do come just off the top of our heads. They're not scripted, and so I guess that by natural, they're natural, yeah, so by what helps us? Um, we hope it can help you to feel more relaxed and um more inspired generally.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, and we're super inspired by you sending us text messages and appreciating the podcast, because we've been doing it for nearly two years and this is the first time, almost the first time, we have heard from a few of you on youtube, but it's the first time we've had a real text message. Yes, yutka was saying it's like what are we from the 1950s or something? Well, yeah, because we've never had a text message. But of course we have, but not actually directly for on the podcast, no, so it's. It's very, very special that you are the first person.

Yes, and we in massachusetts, we so much, so much love to you and we know that family and your family, yes, and and we, you know, you're going to become part of our family now and we do treasure you and appreciate you so much and we do hope that, if you are suffering from any form of anxiety, that Well, I think we know that you're going to become more and more resilient, yes, and stronger day by day. Yeah, and we are going to be right here supporting you exactly. We will support you all the way through this. So you're not alone. You're not alone. That's a song, isn't it?
